Therese is a fully qualified and experienced masseuse specializing in Balinese deep tissue massage. She also offers Indian Head massage, Usui Ryoho Reiki (Master level), East Meets West Pregnancy massage, Holistic Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

Balinese massage can be either relaxing or deep tissue. This traditional full-body holistic treatment uses deep acupressures with gentle stretches and long flowing strokes used to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen, qi (energy) and manipulate muscles to gently release tension within the body. Relaxing Balinese massage assists to re-balance the body’s energy and offers a deeply calming experience. The Deep Tissue Balinese is unique in combining various intensive deep tissue techniques. This massage can be tailored to work specifically with injuries, pulled or strained muscles or with any areas of tension which require a deeper release.

East Meets West Pregnancy massage is a beautiful combination of eastern techniques of acupressure and western techniques of effleurage incorporated with Reiki (universal energy healing) for mother-to-be and baby. Pillows and duvets are positioned for you to lie in a side semi-reclined position, to work gently work at releasing tension along the spinal muscles, back and shoulders and in a reclined upright position to massage the rest of your body.
